Thankfully, I think the CCP is winning this race. Their external messaging *in these times* too closely resembles their domestic propaganda to play well externally. Would be a lot easier for them if they went back to the “win-win” and “cooperation good” messaging...

The kind of cooperation discussed in this thread requires both less egregiousness of behavior than is happening now (HK, Xinjiang) AND less aggressive messaging
