3/ 3. It does look like there’s a sustained and consistent fall in the daily death rate when analyses by date of death rather than date of reporting which means the peak was possibly 2 weeks ago.
4/ Oxford uni first in Europe to get a vaccine to clinical testing phase . What usually takes years has taken 3 months . Marvellous.

8/ It’s easy to criticise and make comparisons with other countries but when those comparisons are not like for like in terms openness, extent of travel, population, density, cultures and ethnicity and indeed bmi, one should hesitate before jumping to premature conclusions.
