So here& #39;s a pitch.

I& #39;m an honest human. I say what I feel much of the time. My heart, you might say, is on my sleeve.

I& #39;m working class by some definitions - but I& #39;m disabled, so really, I& #39;m actually *underclass*. The truth is sometimes I look up at the people who work with
great envy, and wish I too was waged, but there is a dearth of opportunities for me.

There was also great prejudice against me for being mentally unwell when I was at college; I was prescribed the wrong drug, and it went badly. I was thrown out. I was forced to pursue what
amounts to a paperless education: no certificates of praise, just thousands of books & watched lectures & listening to the wise.

I& #39;m not the person to lead a political party; I& #39;m not a leader, not a wise man, not a great speaker, not a great writer.
But then I don& #39;t believe in leadership. Not, at least, leadership by One. Not in the sense of: get behind me and follow!

I believe in leadership in a different way. I believe in enabling others to lead; emergent leadership, you could call it. I believe in building a new
system in which people, perhaps those who have never been able to thrive, will be able to raise their voice with others and find a volume they never dared dream of.

This system is consensus. Consensus is the leader of the new political party I am founding; there is no
"Big Personality", no "Dear Leader", no "Great Man" or "Great Woman" or "Themperor".

Instead, there& #39;s going to just be All Of Us.

We& #39;ll be a choir, but one that sometimes sings different songs all at the same time. And that& #39;ll be fine:
Harmony will be emergent, just like leadership.

The reason I want to do this is pretty simple. I& #39;m tired of being told how to live. I& #39;m tired of being told that this will save me, or that will save me; I& #39;m tired of being "lead" by people who don& #39;t understand me and never really
can, because they& #39;re not even listening.

I want to be part of something that avoids that. I want to be part of something that avoids a big strong personality wandering in and flailing its charismatic power around the place, hauling everyone off in random directions
that many of the "everyone" didn& #39;t even want to go in, and weren& #39;t ever asked for.

So I& #39;m a consensus democrat. I& #39;m a leaderless system advocate. I believe that the best way to represent the will of any group of people is to just give them the tools to have a voice,
and then to watch and listen to them raise it together.

If this sounds good - if you& #39;re a socialist - if you& #39;re an anarchist too, for that matter - then maybe you could come and raise your voice with me. Join the choir.

Create the Harmony.
