If you posted a picture of your trip to the Bahamas on insta to celebrate Earth Day, I’m calling on you to help the Wet’suwet’en stop this pipeline from being built.

Don’t be a hypocrite by staying silent when you can spread the message. The fight continues.
#WetsuwetenStrong
Just because the media stopped giving Wet’suwet’en media attention does not mean the fight is over.

I’m calling on all people, Indigenous and non-Indigenous, to partake in calling out KKR on social media, emails, or calls.

We are in isolation.

You have the time.
Not only is the pipeline being built against many of the Wet’suwet’en peoples wishes, but construction continues despite there being a global pandemic.

It is being reported that there are little to no safety precautions being taken in regards to COVID-19.
Wherever you are in the world, start posting about this and spread the message.

If you cared about Standing Rock, care about Wet’suwet’en.

Don’t pick and choose which Indigenous rights issues you want to advocate for.

Raise your voice or take the side if the oppressor.
Here are the sample tweets from the email:

Despite the #COVID19 crisis, Coastal GasLink pipeline construction continues on #Wetsuweten lands, putting land defenders at grave risk. @KKR_Co, don’t fund this awful project! #EarthDay
Despite the COVID-19 crisis, @TCEnergy is still going ahead with Coastal GasLink pipeline construction and sending more workers onto Wet’suwet’en territories, putting communities at risk of COVID-19. @KKR_Co, act now! #WetsuwetenStrong
Wet’suwet’en hereditary chiefs are being removed from their land so @TCEnergy can build the Coastal GasLink pipeline, despite having rights and title to the land since time immemorial! @KKR_Co, is it typically your policy to invest in Indigenous rights violations..? #ShutDownKKR
Hey @KKR_Co, your Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG) Responsible Investment Policy, and commitment to the @UN_SDG goals doesn't seem to fit with kicking the Wet'suwet'en hereditary chiefs off their territory by investing in @CoastalGasLink's pipeline. Care to explain?
@KKR_Co, what do you think you are doing funding the Coastal GasLink pipeline? Terminate your pending purchase with @TCEnergy and respect the land rights of the Wet’suwet’en Nation!
