Love must be more contagious than a virus.

Only we can make it so.
Wearing a mask is an act of love.
Washing your hands is an act of love.
Staying inside to the very best of your ability is an act of love.
Making choices that protect essential workers is an act of love.
Tipping delivery drivers and instacart shoppers well when you can? An act of love.
Social distancing is an act of love.
Fighting for the freedom and safety of vulnerable people is an act of love.
Buying only what you need at the grocery store is an act of love.
Checking on your neighbors and friends is an act of love.
Following the instructions of health care workers is an act of love.
Skipping the haircut even if your governor says you can get it is an act of love.
Your nails can be undone for a bit. Staying out of the salon is an act of love.
Supporting food banks and shelters, small businesses and creatives during an uncertain time is an act of love.
Supporting shelters and LGBTQ safety networks, domestic violence networks and supports for foster youth is an act of love.
Turning off the news until you can handle it is an act of love.
Seeking and sharing joy is an act of love.
Getting creative so that you and your neighbors survive this is an act of love.
Realizing that we won’t make it through this if we don’t make it through together is an act of love.
I’m not talking about some hokey, corny, Pollyanna love.

I’m talking about love that knows it’s power to help turn the tide of a crisis and help make sure people don’t experience a crisis within a crisis within a crisis.
Make
Love
More
Contagious
Than
This
Virus.

Stay educated, stay smart, stay safe, and stay aligned with love.

It’s more necessary now than ever.
If a global pandemic can not demonstrate to you just how interconnected and interdependent we all are, nothing can.

We don’t survive this unless we think of one another with every decision we make.

It’s not just about the big acts. It’s the small everyday choices. That’s love.
“If you have come here to help me, then you are wasting your time.

But if you have come because your liberation is bound up with mine, then let us work together.”

-Lilla Watson.

Let us work together.
I love you.
