FM 20 Mobile - The most Cursed Football game of all time

First of all this thread is based of a save that’s in 2028 in which I’ve had a relatively massive impact on world football winning 5 league titles in Spain, France and England and 21 Cups including a World Cup with Brazil in 2026, either way this save has some interesting teams..

First of all Everton; Everton Started this save exceptionally well getting European football in the first season coming 5th but since then it’s been massively down hill the following season finishing dead last despite making their biggest signing of the save (Atal)

Well since relegation Everton haven’t returned to the prem and have kept onto Jonjoe Kenny and Kieran Dowell and haven’t once come close to getting smacked every time they make the playoffs, but it’s unlikely they’ll ever get the playoffs again losing 5-2 to fucking Crewe

Second and probably weirdest of all Rotherham: Rotherham like Everton starting exceptionally well gaining promotion to the championship after finishing second in League 1, well it’s been down hill since then finishing last in the championship then 15th back in L1 then 16th

Rotherham’s decline sped up in 2024 being relegated to League 1 after finishing 2024 but despite prolonging the inevitable until 2028 Rotherham were relegated from the football league after once again failing to turn this misfortune around

As the next 2 are practically the same let’s talk about them together Sheffield Wednesday and Notts Forrest; well both teams “deserve to be in the prem” according to their fans but following the trend of this thread they ain’t prem but League 2 instead

Both teams started the save with inconsistent finishes going from relegation battles to playoffs back to relegation battles however Sheffield’s demise was much slower their first relegation coming in 2023 whereas Forrests in 2026

Although 9 games into the season Sheffield Wednesday sit top of L2 but Forest sit 19th facing bankruptcy and both teams have played each other already with Sheffield coming out on top winning 6-0

The fourth and final team in England South Shields; Finally a positive one WAHEY. South Shields first appeared in 2023/24 season finishing 2nd and winning the playoffs they kept up their momentum finishing 6th in the national league where once again they won the playoffs.

Although they’re still in L2 they appear to be holding strong finishing 11th,13th and 18th.

Moving onto France with the team I started with FC Nantes: starting off with a 6th place finish gaining European football before securing a League Title, French cup and a EL title before I left to manage Liverpool; since then Nantes have won another French Cup in 2027

They finished 6th in 2022 before returning to the top 4 in 2023 before falling off finishing 8th, 12th then 15th before 3rd in 2027 in 2028 the European football hurt their league performances finishing 12th.

The second team and final team in France - PSG; Despite keeping hold of Mbappe and signing Werner PSG have been lacklustre to say least taking 3 years to secure another league and having 0 European trophies PSG secured 3 league titles and once finished 5th in 2027

Last nation, first team - Barcelona; the team I took over in 2022 after resigning from Liverpool cause Salah is a cunt - Barcelona have been dominant in Spain winning all but one league title in 2022, my time in Spain was dominant winning an EL, 2 CLs, 3 leagues 3 Spanish cups

Since I took over the after the first real title improvements were needed so naturally I drafted in Donnarumma to replace the ageing Neto and Myron Boadu for actual goals as well as Mejbri to replace the 36 Year old Busquets as well Felix on a free

Since I left Barca remained relatively dominant drafting in Antonio Conte who’s arrival with his 5-3-2 formation forced out Joao Felix, Ansu Fati and Dembele but Conte hasn’t out done me providing 0 CLs

Next and Final team - Valencia: Despite no league titles or domestic titles Valencia have cleaned in Lower level European competitions taking over from the likes of Sevilla and Atletico winning ELs in 2020,2024 and 2027 and one EL2 in 2023
