alright yall mind if i rant about p1 anna for a bit
that wasn't a question that was a warning. let's go gamers
warning for p1 spoilers //

now of course, what must be understood about patho classic is that it is a story constructed by children. as is natural of stories told by children of such an age, projections of their own views are omnipresent. now of course, that's given for most *
* forms of fiction. all stories with more substance than a nursery rhyme have a slither of its creator's worldview in there, no matter how subtle. but for children of the powers that be's ages, they will be more blatant than is typical.
the point i'm trying to make here is that the powers that be are bound to have black and white worldviews. this isn't an inherently bad thing; people that young have no obligation to understand the depressing truths of the world around them at such a young age. however, it is *
* their fictional world that must suffer the consequences for it.
of course, the patho world is INCREDIBLY complicated. everything is very tangled and everyone has their own means, their own views. but that's because we're experiencing it from the doll's perspectives, where *
* every doll is as real and familiar as them. the player's influence is mirrored within the world itself. every character is human. even the villainous and revolting big vlad has redeeming qualities if you look hard enough. does that make him good? not by any means, obviously.
but the way the world reacts to these characters is... different. the powers that be react to daniil as the scary, mean and emotionless clown he appears to be at surface level, and thus that's how most people in-universe treat him. eva is portrayed as wrong and sympathetic for *
* seeing good in him, because that's what the powers that be believe.

what does this have to do with anna? from the perspective of the powers, she's a pure villain. she's evil. even if we know she's suffering, no character can point that out. to the town, she's just evil.
this is why she's bears such a grudge against children; the powers wanted to project an awful person onto anna, and if they're victimised, that makes her all the more awful. the children in-universe are projections of the kids and why they're so much more reasonable and special *
* than everyone else. it's why they have the heroic burakh's protection. it's why they're the best means to a good ending. it's why anna has to d/e to atone for disliking them.
anyway nothing i say is coherent stan anna angel xx
take a shot every time jay makes a grammar mistake or says "of course"
coherency? who is she
