What happens if humans never develop immunity to COVID19 and it turns into a chronic infection with no cure?

These unknown, long-term risks are a good reason to stick with strict lockdowns, while we find out more, work out how to scale up testing and set up contact tracing ... In the mean time, we should ignore all of the foolish talk about rushing back to work.
