[THREAD] HOW TO COLLECT ALL THE MOM'S ITEMS! This is through my own trial & error so I apologize for any mistakes or if it doesn't work 100%. This requires time traveling so be mindful of weeds, overgrown flowers, lots of unread mail or spoiled turnips!

For reference I have an updated game (1.2.0) and 7 traded villagers that moved in within the past 2 weeks. I've traveled all the way to 2060 and had no villager or save file issues BUT do this at your own risk!

Mom's items are send via mail. You'll get 14 letters in your first year (once every month, your bday, and your arrival) and 13 letters the following years (no arrival letter). Mom's items are not for sale in the catalog so you cannot reorder them

Every MONTH the mom letter/item changes while every YEAR the variation of that item changes. The furniture items (excluding the mat) are CUSTOMIZABLE. Therefore no matter which design you're sent you can customize it to your desired color variation!

Since clothing items + the kitchen mat aren't customizable, the only way to collect them all is to time travel throughout the years. Unfortunately just skipping +1 month/year might not always give you a mom letter!

The best way ensure you'll get a new letter is talk to 1-2 villagers once you've opened your mail. I believe this let's the game know you're active. This can also increase the chances of a new variation! (When I didn't talk to villagers and got a letter it was usually a dupe)

After doing this 6-8 times I would stop getting letters completely and the game would take a while to load/save. If this happens I recommend closing the game, going back to your current date/time and let the game rest. Once I began tting again, letters started reappearing!

NOTE: Skipping an entire year (ex: going from Jan Dec) will NOT give you all 13 letters. You will only recieve the corresponding letter(s) for whichever month your date is set to or only the birthday letter, but none of the others will appear.

Out of the 53 days I got letters, 29 of them were dupes, so this process can take a while but remember you can always trade with others to exchange duplicates!
