... Granted, anyone concerned about abuse and coverup was right to be concerned about Viganò's allegations and call for at least some to be investigated. But it was disturbing to see many praise him uncritically when he was already displaying paranoia & megalomania. ...
... (I mean, one would think a faithful Catholic wouldn't place himself above the pope by calling for Francis to resign as though he were a CEO & not the vicar of Christ. And wouldn't a true ecclesial hero/martyr be willing to take the consequences rather than go into hiding?)...
