I’m feeling emotional, wel extra emotional today so here’s a thread of what I miss about FAMU. THE BEST HBCU IN THE NATION. Idc I’m not willing to debate for once.

I miss B30* , my rooom. My lovely sanctuary. I have so many clothes and books left there I’m missing it.

I miss set Friday’s and y’all can’t lie those last couple of set Friday’s were getting lit.

I miss my crushes that I had sometimes. Lmao tbh I miss THINKING I was gonna marry a famu man. It feels that way on campus sometimes we feel it’s possible but

I miss the way famu makes me feel about myself. I always love myself. But at famu it’s like a cherry on top because I know this school will help me grow, that this is the setting God chose for the next big moments of my life, oh to be fortunate to feel that way about your college

I miss fried fish Friday’s. I do miss that I forgot.

I miss the parties. Famu students are so hilarious and extra with everything. Really from the party names to the actual parties. It’s always a funny time. Like seriously.

Last one. I miss the learning ... not even from classes cause y’all know how that goes sometimes lol. But the lessons I was taught in just one year. The woman I learned I wanted to become in just one year of college. The things I learned to decide for myself. I am TRULY blessed

I miss the upperclassmen who are sweet and always willing to help me out and be supportive and honest with me.

I miss my friendddd Amiya. Like literally I’m so used to seeing her aggy self with some coffee looking happy to be alive as she should lol.

I miss all my famu 23 like a lot of times they say they don’t see me or I’m always not there but I really love seeing anyone in my class y’all are funny and on days where I was at my low and y’all didn’t know God would always send angels to speak light and good energy in me.
