Really starting to get on that leave the country train, this white nationalism is so explicit and I don't want to wait anymore for "respectable" folks to call it out because when will that be exactly?

I mean, just as a thought experiment, what could happen at this point for people to finally say it out loud? We've already got camps and immigration bans on top of the pre-existing legislative and systemic racism

If they rolled the national guard into a largely non-white area of a major city and burned down the neighborhood, but called it a virus hotspot, would that make it permissible to acknowledge the white nationalists? I'm not sure but bordering on probably not

Not being able to be sure of that and thinking about other hypothetical situations is revealing how much faith I have about any opposition chance to protect life, and it turns out that faith is close to zero

So, like, given that, I am admitting to myself that I and my friends are not safe here, and waiting around for the next act of inhumanity would seem pretty foolish
