Re LRT

Cuomo (rightfully) points out that NY puts in billions more than it takes from federal money. And states like McConnell's take out billions more than they put in.

This is why foreign ops are behind pushing for CA to break in multiple states and always float 'leaving'
Because California also puts in billions more. If we were our own nation, we'd be between the 5th and 7th largest economy in the world.

And hostile foreign governments would love to see that weakened, because without CA money or NY money, a lot of the US is in deep shit.
But since the states that PRIMARILY support other states are blue states?

Most of those states have no issue with it, we understand that we're part of a UNITED states.

But the attitude of some other states is just bizarre. They act as though the blue states are their burden
And let's be brutally honest here.

If Kentucky were economically California...what do you think McConnell and his ilk would be proposing? If NY and CA *were* hat in hand states....

These GOP bastards would be pushing us off on an ice floe.
Meanwhile, I am proud to say that my state of California, instead has sent medical supplies including ventilators to NY...because THEY NEEDED THEM MORE THAN WE DID.

And we continue to help where needed. Just as other states when we've had terrible fires? Have sent help to us.
The GOP is the party of chaos and fragmentation.

I believe, and I truly believe, we are stronger together. Apparently so too do our enemies both foreign and domestic.

Kentucky has some shit leadership, I hope they vote in better people.
And I hope some red states wake up and realize that without the federal govt, and without the blue states paying for them?

They'd be economically at the level of undeveloped nations.

Kentucky runs BILLIONS in the red. BILLIONS.
PS: I would also like to point out how many red states also disenfranchise their voters.

North Carolina, for example, has literally not been considered a democracy by the rest of the world for ...almost a decade, due to voter suppression, gerrymandering, etc.
So many of the views of this death cult, for personal profit, GOP?

Doesn't reflect the people they don't even serve, and rarely reflects the often poor majority in the state.
