this movie had the potential to be iconic but ended up being really bad

(A thread/review)
I'm going to give a summary and point out all the dumb things in this movie bc I accidentally watched it :/
Basically in the beginning of the movie the couple (Mahira Khan) and (Haroon Shahid) are going on a road trip with the husband's sister who is also the wife's college friend. They end up going to an abandoned outdoor place and after a while they hear a car approaching.
2 goons step out of the car and puncture the tires of their car and they are threatening them to stay away with their weapons. They then tell the husband to hand over one woman to take hostage, when he doesn't they forcibly take the sister but the wife volunteers to go with them
Instead in order to protect her sister in law bc she's unmarried. The husband isn't able to do much bc he's handicapped. The goons tell them not to call the police or they will kill her and reassure to send her back in 2-3 days
The family doesn't call the police. The kidnappers seem to be very powerful bc they always know where everyone is. They return the wife after 2-3 days and warn again to not call the police. They don't go to the police or get a medical examination done
The woman's mother in law tells them that this is exactly what will happen if you wear such clothes. Complete basic bs it didn't happen bc of the clothes we later find out why the rapist did it, a good depiction of cultural women today
Anyway the wife is mad at her whole family for not reporting and her mother is trying to give her support and she says "Allah ki laathi be awaz hai" translation: "The long arms of the Almighty makes no sound when it strikes" but the direct translation goes something like this:
"The Almighty's stick has no voice". Which to the woman replied "yehi to afsos hai ke uski lathi be awaz hai" translation: "unfortunately His stick has no voice". I dont understand how this was allowed in the film industry of our country when it clearly disrespects Allah??
Moving on, the husband and wife drift apart bc now she's been touched by another man, they don't speak properly to each other for a while and when they do it breaks out in an argument and husband literally admits he'd rather his sister raped than his wife bc apparently...
... ignorance is best?? and he starts protesting that she didnt even fight against it bc she had no marks on her body?? All the wrong things they showed with men were completely accurate but the movie goes even more downhill from here
Anyway they clear out their differences and decide to go to the movies, the husband goes to buy the tickets and the 2 goons come again and give a letter from their boss, the rapist and they tell her that he has completely fallen in love with her and this has never happened before
The husband is furious all over again at the rapist and his wife? So the wife decides to live at her parents place. The rapist obviously finds out and sends her presents and letters and tells her to divorce her husband
She's still not in talking terms with her husband. she meets an old lawyer friend of her and comes up with a plan-a terrible plan
She talks to her rapist all nice and agrees to spend the night with him. The plan was to recreate the actual night she got raped... anyway she gets picked up from her house and she reaches his place and he lives in a mansion he receives her and goes to change bc he just...
...returned from a family event, she snoops around and sees a picture of the governor so she asks one of the servants and they tell her he's the guys (rapist's) father. She then realised that's why she was raped, she lectured him for stopping the traffic
She then willingly spent the night with him, to recreate her rape. Wtf is that? I'm sorry but in my opinion that's consensual sex even if you're doing that to frame the rapist.
Her friend informed her husband of this, when she got dropped off in the morning he took her to get a medical exam done. The examiner told her not to proceed but she said trust me you'll give my example in the future to other victims
Not long after the news goes viral bc the governor's son is being framed. When the woman's mom found out she told her why doesn't she leave it to Allah, He's the most forgiving. At that Mahira said "aur vo jo dosakh?" Translation: "then who's hell for" explain to me how someone
Can have this much nerve to disrespect their own God for bad entertainment?? I'm fuming
Anyway the rapist's family tried to shut them up and send them to Dubai? I'm laughing lmao but they don't go obv and then there's a trial. It's in favour of the victim mostly even though the rapist tries to pull some tricks
But for the Finale the rapist's lawyer presents footage which would show that it was consensual sex-why the plan was terrible except the rapist admitted to his uncle before that he turns off all CCTV cameras so they're just fooling the victim
So the woman's dad pleaded to not show the footage and they would take back their case. They ended up getting a lot of hate and the victim's dad couldn't bare it so he buried himself in his basement and committed suicide? Where the fuck is this going?
The rapist contacts the victim after a while again and tells her that he still loves her and wants to marry her and she should divorce her husband before he gets rid of him himself. Like this man is so desperate. So now Mahira comes up with an even more terrible plan
With her husband and sister in law she kidnaps the rapist, and sends out messages from his phone to everyone claiming he did in fact rape her and now he's filled with guilt so he's going away maybe forever. This movie turned into a bad comedy real quick
She then takes him to her parents basement (where her dad is buried) and locks him in a small wall gap and tells him that this is the end for him, he'll die bc of no oxygen and then she will fill the wall gap with cement and no one will be able to find him no matter what...
...then the three leave for a road trip and lived happily ever after!
This movie was written and directed by a 15 year old and no one can convince me otherwise
This movie seriously had the potential to talk about an important less spoken about topic but they shat all over it. I mean even Chalawa was better than this non sense
