Belden can try and paint himself as some antifascist hero for going to fight with women freedom fighters in Syria, but also...

He got famous publicity stunting as the the face of a women's freedom fighter movement and displacing the voices of actual women freedom fighters.

Belden is a dirtbag who ran off to do some dangerous shit for a hot minute, stole the spotlight from the women leading the freedom fight he joined, then used that stolen glow & his family's tragic history as cover for his promotion of antisemitic conspiracy theories.
