Our masaajid are closed, there hasn’t been umrah performed in over a month. We (including me) should stop and think why is the punishment of Allah falling upon us? The government isn’t in control of the virus neither is the WHO or any “super power” , ALLAH is in control.
Follow the law of the land, Stop fighting with the governement and each other and look into what we as individuals are doing wrong. Two actions have become normal in society , music and immorality.
Listening to music is one thing , but putting our face on a video with music playing in the background is like openly telling Allah and the world that we are proud we listen to music and we are exposing our own sins to the world.
But leave my opinion and look at the Hadith of our Nabi SAW that clearly tells us why we are where we are
Sayyiduna Ali ibn Talib (RA) reports that the blessed Messenger of Allah SAW said: “When my Ummah begin doing fifteen things, they will be inflicted with tribulations, and (from those 15 things He said): “When female singers and musical instruments become common.”(Sunan Tirmidhi)
Abdullah ibn Umar (RA) narrates that Rasulullah (SAW) turned to us and said:
“... Immorality never appears among a nation to such an extent that they commit it openly, but plagues and diseases that were never known among the predecessors will spread among them...” Sunan Ibn Majah
When we become immoral and lose our haya and shame and we listen to music openly as if it is not haraam , then Nabi SAW already told us the outcome and we are seeing it.
Tiktok brings immorality and music together perfectly and it’s broadcasted so that everyone can see that we are listening to music and that it is normal. It’s addictive because it is from among the Fitnah of dajjal
The Fitnah of dajjal will come before dajjal comes. This will allow for the tricks of dajjal to become normal so that when he comes, we won’t be able to see haraam from halaal.
Ramadaan is the perfect time to repent to Allah and to delete our music and apps like tik tok , because music in a video that’s funny, is still music.
Let’s stop asking for the punishment of Allah and change by at least not openly listening to music and making it normal.
Ibn 'Abbas (RA) said:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "If anyone constantly seeks pardon (from Allah), Allah will appoint for him a way out of every distress and a relief from every anxiety, and will provide sustenance for him from where he expects not."

[Abu Dawud].
I’m not perfect, No one is perfect and we all sin but the conditions we face are warnings from Allah. May Allah forgive us, protect us, grant us normality in our lives again and have mercy on us.
