Pitchfork might be a government backed program to keep ambient musicians in business
What have I gotten myself into?
oh another one ... okay
The march continues today
That last album (167) was too sad!

There's a real run of bangers coming up starting with 166
I didn't listen to this until 2018 but man ... so good. I think I probably heard most of the tracks as one-offs in playlists before I realized they were all from the same album and now I listen at least once a month
The Knock is a stone cold indie-rock opener and the album only gets better as it goes. Honestly severely underrated at 164.
Great start to Wednesday's listen
this one doesn't quite compare to his most recent album, but that's still high praise
not usually my thing but I'll give it a shot
okay update from the week i was off twitter/today with a good/fine/nope scale

It's a meh but I've also come to realize that this stuff just isn't for me
Fun

I saw FF in 2008 when they were the very first main stage band (Friday afternoon) at Sasquatch. Then saw them again 6 hours later when they replaced The National as the opener for REM due to bus problems

Always nice to remember that trip!
Great

It'll never quite live up to Saturdays=Youth in my book but that's an unfair bar. Midnight City into Reunion is a heck of a way to start an album
nope

I've also learned that my late 2000s love of Animal Collective was mostly a love of Panda Bear. I still like almost everything he puts out and haven't really gotten in an AC album since Centipede Hz
nope

Missed a couple from Friday.

Snail Mail gets a good and is one of the brightest, upcoming artists in my favorite genre, "sad girl cry music"
Also from Friday.

Was going to go with "meh" but it's probably a "fine." Not a big emo guy but there's some stuff to like here
This one's from tonight and is ...

good
One more good one tonight
it's fine
fun but always kind of exhausting to listen to honestly
Good
also one of the best live shows I've ever seen
