I’m working on a talk on #originalblessing and realizing how much easier it is now to explain interconnectedness. Now more than ever, defining sin as “connectional sin” really makes intuitive sense- and holds the reality of it all.
When we work together, life flourishes. When we work disconnected, life is threatened and diminishes. Sin happens when we don’t think and act according to the good of the whole, and the life on the other end(s) of our endless interconnections.
I wish we could have seen this without the painful experience of a global pandemic. But may all our eyes be opened now, and our society designed for abundant life for all.
