Oh to be having short walks barefooted in Gold Coast with Yuan, looking for convenience shops to buy snacks and taking selfies while the others are surfing & riding the hot air balloon.

He’d show off his English skills and gave nonsensical reasons of why he bought baby oil instead of body oil. He’d blame it on his British accent and I’d laugh it off and clap like seal.

Then we’d have brunch in Starbucks talking about the trip and how it’s too bad that today +

+ was the last day of the wholesome trip. He’d ask how has his English improve and I’d say he’s gotten better and should start using English more often. He’d say thank you and say I should brush up on my mandarin too. And offered to help.
