[THREAD] Quick info for friends moving from dA to twitter!
1. To retain best image quality, your images should be less than 900 × 900 and in PNG-8 format
2. To minimize preview cropping, your aspect ratios should be:

16:9 for horizontal uploads
8:9 for vertical uploads
3. For pixel art, single images should be exactly 600 pixels wide while following the advice of advice #1. This will keep the pixels crisp on preview! I think it matters a little less if you post 2 or more images in a post.
4. Twitter& #39;s preview cropping will target one of these areas: faces, text, or high-contrast. If it cannot find a face (if you have more stylized artwork, for example) or text, it& #39;ll go to the brightest area generally.
5. Twitter algorithm favors replies/interactions. If you prefer not to RT, replies will help an artist just as much!
6. Artists usually do not like "Retweet with Comment" or QRT. Using this will create a new tweet that takes interaction away from the original post. It& #39;s better to reply directly or use "LRT (last retweet)" to refer to the post.
This refers specifically to artwork posts! Text posts are different.
