Getting right into the #GRExit debate. Over (and won) at UM, not so much at other institutions.
PIBS consideration of dropping GRE coincided with appearance of new literature about utility and limitations as an admissions tool. Student and faculty weighed in with plurality of opinions. A Twitter handle was born.

Scott now tracking numbers of applicants/offers to URM and other demos before & after the drop. Average PIBS rates appear unchanged but specific programs within PIBS have interesting variation (+ & -)
Scott: GRE is necessary but not sufficient for increasing equitable & inclusive admissions process.
