good evening everyone! last night, we said that we should always listen and understand those who have been offended, oppressed, and made uncomfortable by us men — and we see now that we have failed to do this in our latest episode.
we would like to apologize, we do agree, and we see where we went wrong. we as straight males were talking about a very sensitive topic without having a female guest. now that we've had some time to reflect, we agree that it wasn't our place.
it was never our intention to be self-serving in any way but with the lack of representation and the limitations of where we are coming from as men, we completely understand the reactions and why it would come off that way.
this will always be a learning and unlearning process for us and we are now aware that we could have done better.
as politically charged and politically inclined politics will definitely continue to be a part of our line-up, we want to work on being better allies.
that said, on any future topic covering minorities or any form of oppression at all, we will make it a point to have proper representation coming from the affected sector. we want to do these communities justice. we will listen; we will shut up for once.
anyone has the right to call us out to be better because that is all we truly want to be.

thank you for giving us this opportunity to be better.
