@British_Airways I have requested a refund on the 22nd of March for 2 tickets on a cancelled flight. After many follow up phone calls, I received a partial refund on the 10th of April for 1 ticket. The BA phone advisors are blaming PayPal for not receiving the full amount but
Paypal confirmed they have not received a refund for the 2nd ticket from BA. The phone advisor also proceeded to lie to me, saying that paypal need to request the amount back, though PayPal cant do anything for a refund that never arrived. The advisor also said & I quote "had you
paid with a credit card, you'd have received it in full, paypal is unreliable right now", essentially blaming me for using a checkout option BA offers! They also said they will have to request the transaction ID from the bank which can take 2 months. Meanwhile you are breaking EU
Law by not issuing a refund within 14 days. Each time I phoned a different explanation was given as to why my refund wasn't done. I need the refund reissued now. The phone centre no longer works, I'm expecting a reply on this thread.
