which is to ensure that we are the best fit for you and determine what services may be needed. After we speak to our supervisor for approval, we can let you know if you are approved for a face to face meeting which would need to be conducted at a safe location...

(I.E. MMH or Marietta Police Dept.) After the meeting it will be determined if you can enter shelter. It is vital that you understand our services are confidential and we will not disclose your information. We are bound by federal regulations and take your privacy very seriously!

Here is what you need to know about the shelter:
-The shelter is community living. You will have you own bedroom but must share a living area, kitchen, and bathroom.
-When you enter shelter, you will be given a personal care bag of hygiene items for you to keep.

-You do not need to bring anything but your clothes and important documents. We provide towels, toiletries (upon entering), and have a few other amenities for you.
-One concern that parents have is if it is kids friendly. The answer is yes...

We do have TVs and a play area for children and all our staff love to spoil kids (we are human!).
-If you enter you are free to leave. We do have safety procedures that must be followed, that is in place to ensure residence and staffs’ safety.

-We have a security system and regularly watch it to keep everyone safe.
-The office is on-site and is staffed 24/7.
-You will be asked to participate in weekly meetings (do not worry we will work with your schedule).

-Participation in any of our services while in shelter is voluntary, however doing so increases your chances of success.
-All staff are trained in Trauma-informed care.
-EVE is not a mental health or substance abuse facility. If this is something that is needed...
