no. you'd be houseless. like the rest of us. that doesn't stop you from renting like the people living in the building you own?
if you stress that you're putting in more money than anyone else involved in the situation then chances are you can afford to rent. Rent with the people you love and care about, it makes it a lot more manageable.
I have never been a landlord so yeah, I don't know what you're going through. One landlord decided to turn me out as soon as they could to flip their place or move into it. The only reason I can see for wanting to give that position up is not wanting someone to do it to you
So support the breaking of the landlord class. Seek solidarity with people who don't and can't own property until it can be rightfully redistributed.
