Something I’ve noticed is as women get promoted they seem to take on more stress, are insanely overworked and tend to burn out, whereas men get promoted and seem to be able to delegate their work and are far less stressed in return for “paying their dues” when they were young
It’s a difference in attitude. Women seem to be expected, and feel, that they must work harder to deserve their new title and increased salary. The expectation for men seems to be that they are getting rewarded with less work and more money after putting in their time.
