I no longer have a cast on my right leg, for those of you who have been following this story.
We got home, @memepetitspois said & #39;don& #39;t forget to wash your hands& #39; to which I pithily replied & #39;I& #39;m going to go wash my whole body, until we& #39;re out of hot water& #39;
I never thought rubbing my feet together would feel so awesome
I& #39;ll say that everyone at Sault Area Hospital has been super. People were nice, and genuinely so. In the four times in the past six weeks that I have been there I& #39;ve ran into one person who wasn& #39;t pleasant, that& #39;s pretty good, especially with the current situation.
I just walked all around the house without my crutches. It seems the key is getting up and not thinking about how my leg has been so fucked up.
I know I& #39;ve droned on here for six weeks about my broken leg and all. I& #39;m also aware that it probably (definitely) got old I just want to thank everyone for being so nice and supportive. I& #39;ve never been laid up like this in my life, so thanks for understanding.
My students have been especially supportive. I& #39;ve received a lot of emails and such from them, checking up on me even though the term is done and it can& #39;t affect their marks (so it& #39;s not sucking up)
Thanks!
Thanks!
So to end this thread, thanks to everyone, my family, my friends, my students, my colleagues at @algomau and all you people I sorta know.
