1) Did you know that tweets have a half life of 24 minutes? So if your tweet isn't getting liked/RT/replies after that mark. It's a possible dud.
Big sad.

2) RT groups are amazing to keep you tweet living longer. The second you post your tweet, add it into your group for exposure! Even better if they add replies and likes! That's a massive win

3) The best time to tweet (statically) is around 3pm on weekdays. This does depend on your audience, but that's when twitter gets the most activity. 3PM

4) MEDIA! Media gets more enegment. x10 MORE engagement in fact. Those are nice numbers right?
Well, GIFs get 55% more, and videos get x6 to that. Want your tweet to bang? Add media.

5) Now you have a perfected tweet, good timing and media. What next?
Use and add relevant hashtags!

6) If you're a SW, you're running a business. All of your followers are potential customers, but also they're following to support your work (most of the time).
REPLY TO THEM. Talk to them! They said you look cute? Give them a hecking thank you and say they're cute too.

7) Do NOT tweet in bursts.
Tweet CONSISTENTLY. Most unfollowing occurs when you suddenly spam a feed. It's not nice, they wanna look at other things.
Consistently tweet throughout the day. Remember to use that 3pm window for advertising

8) Your profile. Have a human face in your profile picture, and stick to the T&S of twitter. This is my mug for you to enjoy.

9) Keep your Bio short and factual. Big bios look like a wall of text at first glance, people are lazy. If tweets don't last longer than 24 mins, you really think they wanna spend 2 mins reading your bio?
Add your location too if you're comfortable.

10) Support your friends! Quote RTs do better than plain RTs. That way your friends can RT that.

This applies for your own content too. RT your content from weeks ago, not hours. Recent tweets will likely still be active.

11) Pin your BEST TWEET to your profile. It can be informational or one of your media tweets.

12) Speaking of analytics, look at them!!
It's simple to use, and lays out the % of your followers that make engagements with your tweets. 2% Engagement on one post but 30% on another? Compare the tweets & learn from it.

13) No one likes a downer. Bad news travels fast, but in this age people are coming to social media to escape depressing things.
Tweet POSITIVE! humour, something positive or inspirational.

'official' 'founder' and 'speaker' have more followers on average so add it into your bio somewhere.
