And it looks like Chief Justice John Roberts will write the DACA opinion.
All the other decisions from the November sitting have been assigned to other justices, and he& #39;s the only one who hasn& #39;t written one.

Today the Supreme Court decided Barton, written by Brett Kavanaugh ( https://www.supremecourt.gov/opinions/19pdf/18-725_6khn.pdf)">https://www.supremecourt.gov/opinions/... and Maui, written by Stephen Breyer ( https://www.supremecourt.gov/opinions/19pdf/18-260_5i36.pdf).

I don& #39;t think the decision will be released just yet.
On Monday, the Supreme Court allowed supplemental briefing on the question of how the Covid-19 pandemic is relevant to the legal question of "reliance."
I wrote about that here: https://www.vanityfair.com/news/2020/04/panic-and-fear-already-consume-our-daily-lives-will-the-supreme-court-pass-the-coronavirus-test">https://www.vanityfair.com/news/2020...

Two things Roberts might do:
1. Hold the case over for reargument in light of changed circumstances: https://twitter.com/MikeSacksEsq/status/1253336411899432966
2.">https://twitter.com/MikeSacks... Split the baby: https://twitter.com/lylden/status/1253333325286002690
Neither">https://twitter.com/lylden/st... is optimal, and he could well do something else. Or @MaketheRoadNY may change his mind. No pressure!
