Mourning the death of my grandfather who passed on Tuesday. And I guess it just hasn’t hit me yet because I looked at this man as a superhero.
He’s overcome SO much and was still full of life despite everything he’s been through.
And I’m heartbroken because due to the current circumstances, with COVID and all, my grandfather had to die at the hospital by himself with no family to comfort him in his last moments.
This is a man who was constantly surrounded by family and the one time we couldn’t be, he passes. That shit is weighing so heavily on all of us.
But as I cry I also celebrate who he was because he was too amazing to not boast about. So that’s what this thread will be about.
A celebration of the strongest, sharpest, funniest man I knew ♥️ Here’s to you Papa Lucio
Just look at how immaculate this picture was. My grandfather was all about family, especially his wife. Always showing his lady off 🥰
