Looking into what is happening in Sweden a little more (they are close to Ohio in pop, both around 11M). % of population over age 65: Ohio 16.2% Sweden 26.2%. 10% difference or around 1.1M more Swedish people in the "danger" age but 1300 more #COVID19 deaths. Interesting stats.
One would expect statistically more deaths if you have 1.1M more people in the most susceptible age range. They are also developing herd immunity.
