why do people hate fantano so much - he commands more respect and attention than a lot of reviewing publications and he's putting out stuff on his own, he covers so many genres, and he stays fairly consistent to his opinions without being unfair. people just hate his fanbase

also in relation to the fiona apple review - a 7 for him is a great score. personally i wouldn't give the album a perfect score like pitchfork, i rly liked it and the lyrical content is amazing but it's not totally my thing. he wasn't being misogynistic

he fucking loved lingua ignota and that album has some very similar themes to FTBC - people are so harsh on him because they forget there is not possible way you're always going to agree with him, he's only human
