The people who are dying from #COVID19 overwhelming are the same people who the system kills daily. Only this time their deaths impact upon the lives + freedoms of white middle - upper classes.. so now “we are all in this together” until of course COVID is under control...

Then it’s back to business as usual. Oppression as usual. White supremacy as usual. Capitalism as usual. Poverty as usual.

I want to imagine and believe in a new world beyond this virus - I want a world where I don’t have to worry about my kids being criminalised or assaulted. I want a world where police and prisons don’t exist. Where property isn’t more valuable than human life.
