His claim & unanswered questions.

Let’s first understand that the claim of an attack comes just hours after @republic @ArnabGoswamiRtv faces backlash on social media & several FIR’s were registered against him 1/n

for propagating communal hatred and he has been booked under stringent sections of Indian Penal Code.

A cornered Arnab Gowsami facing the imminent threat of getting arrested 2/n

Arnab has 3 options, either he should apologise, face arrest or apply for anticipatory bail. Since courts are not functioning in full attendance it’s not easy to get anticipatory bail and that too in the night. 3/n

So the best option was to claim an attack against him & play victim. This will give him time & change the entire narrative to gloss over his mistakes. Remember how a politician who faces imminent arrest would enact the hospital drama. 4/n

The claim of an attack raises serious questions:

1) Arnab says the bikers were following him and what was his security guards doing when they say these men following him?

2) Why was the police escort vehicle tailing Arnab’s car did not intercept these bikers?

3) If something was suspicious the first instinct of any TV journalist would be to click picture or record a video? Why neither Arnab nor his wife recorded a video or a picture? 6/n

4) Arnab claims that the bikers when ahead and blocked his car forcing him to stop. What was the police escort doing then? They would have immediately got out of the car and stopped these men? What explains the delay? 7/n

5) Arnab claims that the alleged attackers were trying to break the window & doing it multiple times? What was the police escort and his security doing then?

6) If the intention was to attack Arnab & wife. Why would they throw Ink and fail to break the window glass? 8/n

7) Are the hired goons, so ineffective that they can't even break a car window ?

8) If goons' intention was to attack why did they bring ink instead of weapons ? They are goons or writers ? 9/n

9) For arguments sake, lets say Arnab was busy arguing / watching the attackers what prevented his wife from taking her mobile phone & covering the attackers ?

10) How is that Arnab’s wife who was with him during that time not spoken a word about the alleged attack? 10/n

11) Arnab claims that the Security officials caught the alleged attackers and they informed him that the alleged attackers confessed that they belong to youth congress ? Why no video was shot even at this stage ? 11/n

12) Any copy worth his salt would immediately shoot a video of interrogation to make it as an evidence for the impending investigation, which is a norm nowadays. Why this was not done by any cop ? 12/n

13) Why did Arnab go to the police station and create a scene when the cops said they will investigate the matter and they will check the facts before registering an FIR? Did Arnab try to interfere into the investigations and issue directions to police? 13/n

14) @OfficeofUT government should get to the bottom of this incident and find out what actually transpired and release a report to the public. A probe by a senior officer to probe this would be in order.
