when you see a tweet wondering why FGO doesn't have Watson and kneejerk instantly lmao

for years now I've tried to act like I'm cool with Watson and that I just don't want him in FGO b/c of the inevitable deluge of content of him and and that it wasn't Really a notp thing, but it's 100% a notp thing and I've grown to dislike Watson lmao

I think Kabukicho Sherlock being...what it was lmao is what cemented that I've developed Watson intolerance

I will be so fucking mad if they add him to FGO, the One Thing with that doesn't overwhelmingly focus on his relationship w/ Watson so it can focus on instead

this is like an entire arc for me tbh, my darkest shame is that like 8 years ago I not only was super into BBC Sherlock, I was into /Watson over lmao

okay actually one more tweet about my Watson Intolerance:

I can trace the budding of my Intolerance back in 2017, when I was at my most desperate and reading ACD fics (all 3 of them) in lieu of nonexistent FGO fics

and the best of these fics by far was one where they ran away together at Reichenbach

it ended with them breaking up OFF-SCREEN at some point in time and Holmes deciding to come back and settle down w/ Watson and I have never forgotten nor forgiven lmao

the Holmes/Watson was untagged too lol

anyway my trauma is that overwhelmingly Holmes/Moriarty seems to be seen as like...a fling/temptation that Holmes will Definitely get over or not act on entirely so he can end up with Watson, his True Love and this is why I have Intolerance
