Why would @PiersMorgan claim to have "never met" Savile in his lifetime when he wrote in The Mail on Sunday's Night & Day magazine in 2009 "As I left, Jimmy Savile came up to me. 'Your TV shows are BRILLIANT!', he exclaimed. ... I've always loved Jimmy Savile"?
Odd isn't it?
Lot's of perfectly innocent people met Jimmy Saville. It doesn't make them guilty by association. So why did Piers lie?
Maybe his friends can tell us. Or maybe he never met them either.
