One of the reasons the music is so important to ARMYs is because it is so important to BTS. When BTS shares with ARMYs, they talk about their process creating music, the feelings they have sharing that music, they refer to music as their children. Music is important to BTS.

So when armys talk to other fandoms and question "how can you stan so and so when you haven't even listened to their albums?" I think this is where the confusion lies. BTS talks about music constantly so we do too. Idk what others talk about but I have an idea...

Someone from another fandom will say "I stan so and so for reasons x y and z, so what?" And they are right. Maybe for that person, idol, celeb the music isn't the main focus so the music can't be the main focus for stanning them. But you cannot say that about any member of BTS.
