Here, because I am all about trumpeting interesting westerns, is a megathread of westerns that are currently available to watch online.

Let& #39;s start classic with:
THE GOOD, THE BAD AND THE UGLY (1966).
Haven& #39;t watched it yet? It& #39;s on Netflix.
RANGO (2011)
Is also on Netflix. Haven& #39;t watched it in a long time but I vaguely remember it being... kinda charming?
POSSE (1993).
Watching this one later. Revisionist western written, directed by and starring Mario Van Peebles. Also on Netflix.
LEMONADE JOE (1964).
I don& #39;t understand *how* but this absolute gem of a bizarro Czech musical comedy western is on Amazon. One of my favourite weird discoveries. Heartily recommended.
THE SHOOTING (1967)
Again, *how* but Monte Hellman& #39;s amazing, and very acidic western starring young Jack Nicholson is on Amazon. (As is the companion piece, Ride in the Whirlwind, which isn& #39;t as good).
MEEK& #39;S CUTOFF (2011)
I loved this film from Kelly Reichardt. Restrained and atmospheric. Also on Amazon.
MARLINA THE MURDERER IN FOUR ACTS (2017).
Not one of the faint of heart, Mouly Surya& #39;s Indonesian western is set amongst the deserted, sun-baked hills of Sumba island. On Amazon.
THOUSAND PIECES OF GOLD (1991).
Nancy Kelly& #39;s feminist western has just had a 4k re-release (which I& #39;d be watching in a cinema if I could, cry). But the unrestored version, I think, is on Amazon.
