Here, because I am all about trumpeting interesting westerns, is a megathread of westerns that are currently available to watch online.

Let's start classic with:
THE GOOD, THE BAD AND THE UGLY (1966).
Haven't watched it yet? It's on Netflix.
RANGO (2011)
Is also on Netflix. Haven't watched it in a long time but I vaguely remember it being... kinda charming?
POSSE (1993).
Watching this one later. Revisionist western written, directed by and starring Mario Van Peebles. Also on Netflix.
LEMONADE JOE (1964).
I don't understand *how* but this absolute gem of a bizarro Czech musical comedy western is on Amazon. One of my favourite weird discoveries. Heartily recommended.
THE SHOOTING (1967)
Again, *how* but Monte Hellman's amazing, and very acidic western starring young Jack Nicholson is on Amazon. (As is the companion piece, Ride in the Whirlwind, which isn't as good).
MEEK'S CUTOFF (2011)
I loved this film from Kelly Reichardt. Restrained and atmospheric. Also on Amazon.
MARLINA THE MURDERER IN FOUR ACTS (2017).
Not one of the faint of heart, Mouly Surya's Indonesian western is set amongst the deserted, sun-baked hills of Sumba island. On Amazon.
THOUSAND PIECES OF GOLD (1991).
Nancy Kelly's feminist western has just had a 4k re-release (which I'd be watching in a cinema if I could, cry). But the unrestored version, I think, is on Amazon.
