1) In this thread I will address all of Taylor& #39;s controversies and why many of them are stupid beyond belief. I will also highlight her mistakes. Perhaps this isn& #39;t the best idea since I will end up bringing more attention to said controversies.
2) I want to give an unfiltered analysis. I also hope obnoxious stans on this app stop slandering her.

4) Taylor receives thousands of fan letters daily. It is physically impossible to go through all of them and still have time for your daily tasks. What other celebrity goes through that many letters?
5) She does so much for her fans. This was a slip up. She values her fans more than anybody. Funny thing is that the letters got back to her.

8) Lena is a disgusting individual. Taylor being friends with her doesn& #39;t mean she agrees or approves of any of the things Lena has done. Besides we don& #39;t even see them together any more. There is always the possibility of being unaware of someone& #39;s actions.
10) I call it cultural appreciation. She isn& #39;t disrespecting their culture or using it to make a profit. It was a one time thing. Stop being petty. Funny how she was assisted in this attire by people belonging from said culture. Why are you so offended then?
12) People are upset that her friend circle doesn& #39;t include every race, culture, size, etc... Excuse me but is that how you make friends? No. You don& #39;t need to fulfill a set of requirements to make a friend circle. People having preferences when it comes to dating, friends, etc..
13) And just because they have preferences doesn& #39;t mean they are racist. As long as they don& #39;t discriminate any race. Oh and her friend circle isn& #39;t as exclusive as the media makes it out to be.
14) Would a group of black obese women face the same backlash for being exclusive? No. Even if they were slim they wouldn& #39;t receive as much criticism. Focus on your job, school or hangout with your friends instead of being offended. Clowns, all of you.

16) Taylor wrote Bad Blood which is supposedly about Katy. She doesn& #39;t take cheap shots at her in the song. I& #39;d say she took the high road as far as diss tracks are concerned. The worst thing she said was how she was backstabbed. This is how one would normally describe betrayal.
17) Infact this isn& #39;t much of a diss track at all. I do believe the entire thing was petty and should& #39;ve been resolved privately. Taylor could& #39;ve handled it more maturely.

18) Taylor didn& #39;t declare war on the political movement that is feminism. You& #39;re not going to support women who have hurt you or went against you just because they are women. Besides we don& #39;t know much of their interactions. Maybe something Katy said was rude in Taylor& #39;s eyes.
19) I& #39;m not saying Katy was most certainly rude but Taylor did mention that she questioned what Katy had said to her was a compliment or the rudest thing ever. It seems like there was a whole bunch of miscommunication. The feud ended, move on.
20) Better Than Revenge is speculated to be about Camilla Belle. Another one of Taylor& #39;s mistakes. She was 18 at the time. Most teenagers are a bit mouthy and catty. I mean did everyone forget highschool? I still acknowledge what Taylor did was wrong.
21) I don& #39;t recall 18 year old Taylor being an outspoken feminist. Correct me if I am wrong. So no hypocrisy there. Taylor sl*t shamed Camilla, which is immature and unfortunate. However she is not the reason for Camilla& #39;s career decline.
22) Even Camilla& #39;s then boyfriend at the time (Joe) acknowledged she wasn& #39;t a big star in his song called & #39;Much Better& #39;. The lyric goes, "Now I& #39;m done with superstars". This implys she wasn& #39;t really that big. Taylor acknowledged what she did was wrong. Her exact words:

24) The original lyric in her song means that her ex can call her crazy and obsessive. Taylor will tell her friends that he was actually gay and was not into girls. You guys were really reaching with this one. Her or her team changed it in fear that people would twist it.
25) Which is funny because that ended up happening. She is supposed to receive the GLAAD vanguard award. If she was truly homophobic that wouldn& #39;t happen. They would& #39;ve looked into that theory. Stop creating something out of nothing. You need to calm down.

27) I think it& #39;s so unfair to hold this against her. She was at Katy& #39;s party, partying till night when this creep poses with her. She was either too tired to notice or probably used to & #39;fans& #39; taking pictures with her. Why was he invited anyways?
28) He made the symbol during the party. They all showed up in white. Things took a turn for the worse for Taylor, when the initials JH were seen on her dress. No, it doesn& #39;t represent Jew hater. It represents Julianne Hough, her date for the party.
29) Her team issued a statememt telling the press that she was unaware of the symbol& #39;s meaning, which is another possibility. I might be wrong so correct me. The symbol stood for a good cause until H*tl*r ruined it. It was an honest mistake, she didn& #39;t mean to hurt anybody.

31) Taylor stroking Abel& #39;s hair became another point of contention. She was drunk as suggested by the Weekend. They are friends. Abel also had a really unique haircut, so maybe that& #39;s why Taylor touched his hair.
32) Thank you Ben for being logical. I don& #39;t even know how people can conclude she is racist from the interaction she had with Abel. If she was racist would she be touching is hair at all? She was intoxicated, let it go.
33) I think people want her to be all these things. They are painting her mistakes and actions as being problematic to justify their reasons for hating her. People who are purposely exaggerating her deeds and claiming she is problematic are themselves problematic.
34) Moral of the thread, before pointing the finger at somebody else, point it at yourself. We have all messed up, it& #39;s called being human. Don& #39;t be a hypocrite because your flaws aren& #39;t being viewed by millions. Taylor is actually not problematic.
