@MPIainDS I've got something to say about Uni Credit. Read it, and pass it on to your colleague now in charge of it, Theresa Coffey. I'll pre warn you. There maybe some colourful language because I can't remember the last time I was this angry #UniversalCredit

So I was laid off just before Covid-19 due to lack of work. I signed up for Uni credit straight away. I received my last payment from my previous employer on the 26th March. Few days later I borrowed £400 from Uni Credit and agreed to pay it over 12 months. #UniversalCredit

I was due to receive payment from Uni Credit on 26th of this month. So I checked my account this morning to see how much I would be being paid. Apparently its £0. So then I phone Universal Credit, trying to remain calm. #UniversalCredit

What I was told was because my previous employer paid me during the assessment period I am not entitled to anything. That payment was last fucking month and I've now got 11 fucking pound to last me til the 26th of May. How am I meant to survive? #UniversalCredit

@MPIainDS do you and your colleagues not get it? UNIVERSAL CREDIT DOES NOT FUCKING WORK. YOU ARE FUCKING KILLING PEOPLE. #UniversalCredit
