My experience of COD Zombies, a thread:
In the beginning:
I started playing zombies in Black ops 1 were I didn’t learn the story or do the Easter eggs. I constantly played with my friends from primary school and would only focus on survival and having fun at that point I wasn’t very good but I still loved the game mode
Throughout BO1:

I started off playing kino and watching @ProSyndicate survive to rounds I couldn’t believe at the point, for me kino was a great map but for me Call of the dead beats it after hours and hours of playing the map I loved the overall scene and the characters
Playing call of the dead was unreal with the wonder weapons and the George Romero boss going around the map (RIP George Romero) it created so many memory’s growing up. I then played moon which was as if I was playing a different game entirely with the zap gun and the overall
atmosphere of the map, it was great and such a great way to end Black ops One with all the original WAW maps included with the pack. This made me experience the likes of der riese for the first time and realising how different it was to the black ops 1 maps
We’re it all really began-

Black ops 2 was absolutely an amazing year for zombies, the basic starter maps meant u had to approach zombies differently and the new mechanics brought in were great, I remember getting it for an hour before Christmas and just being so excited for it
once I actually got to play it I was stunned, transit as much as I don’t give it high opinions was a very different addition to zombies and also challenged the player a lot more and that got me hooked to the game mode, throughout the DLC season there was only 3 maps that stood
Out for me, to start it off it’s Mob of the dead. When learning about it being set in the notorious Alcatraz Prison I was amazed I never seen this in zombies as by this point I was researching the story and getting familiar with it, I continued to wonder were this map would fit
It’s a map to this day I would love to see remastered for a zombie chronicals 2 as I would love to play a more up to day version of it. I remember times like getting left on the prison by @StevenG1690 having no clue what to do next. For me Buried was also a great map which
Finally showed us a different version of the ray gun that being the ray gun mark 2, that gun was powerful and gave the decaying ray gun a better feature. As much as the witches were annoying it still for me was a very memorable map and just like MOTD a would like to see it again
Last of black ops 2 was origins and my god what a map, the staffs were incredible and a one of a kind type of wonder weapon that won’t be forgotten. The ending cutscene gave Black ops 3 the hype it deserved and made me more and more excited for what’s to come next in the mode
End of the line:
Black ops 3 was announced and I was heavily excited for it, after knowing a great amount of info about the storyline I attempted my first Easter egg which was on der eisendrache and the experience was out of this world. I continued to play throughout the game
challenging to take on what I presumed was the end of zombies Easter egg on revelations and as I progressed throughout the dlc season for BO3, my encouragement to play the game just kept on growing and then to experience the ending cutscene for revelations I was amazed
Black ops 3 was my favourite year for zombies as there was so much to it and they done everything right, the release of ZC was also a very big thing for the zombie community as it brought it alive again. That point in zombies was the best point i experienced.
