⚠️ FOOTBALL FANS ⚠️

BLICK has released the 36-page concept devised and to be presented by the SFL which aims to safely resume 🇨🇭 football in May.

This is of interest to EVERYONE & may help provide solutions as league associations attempt to navigate this pandemic.

Thread..
Firstly, on the subject of resumption of training, the league has worked out two options:

OPTION 1
1️⃣ Start training on 27/04 with small groups w/o physical contact for 7 days.
2️⃣ Start training with the entire team on 04/05 with contact for 16 days.
3️⃣ League resumes on 20/05.
OPTION 2
1️⃣ Start small group training on 27/04 w/o physical contact for 14 days.
2️⃣ Start whole team training on 11/05 with physical contact for 19 days.
3️⃣ League resumes on 30/05

In both cases, the final 13 games, cup rounds & two relegation PO would be played BY August 2nd.
TRAINING PRECAUTIONS

😷 There is no provision for, unlike Italy, to isolate those involved with training but there are numerous recommendations to ensure safety.

Each club must draw up a list of employees whose presence is required as essential.
🧼 No other person will be allowed access to training facilities. Sanitizer stations are compulsory. Taps will also, preferably, be hands-free.

There will be detailed instruction for employees who work in all areas such as the kitchen or physio room.
🚪 Doors should always be open and dirty laundry baskets placed far away from the training room.

PLAYER TRAINING TRANSPORT
🚗 Players should not travel on public transport to training but only by car or bicycle.
🚌 If not possible, it is recommended to use several chartered buses to transport players with sufficient space (five rows minimum b/tween team-mates).

All bus passengers must wear a mask and disinfect their hands when getting on and off. The bus is disinfected after each trip.
🩺 Before players and staff meet for group training for the first time, everyone must have been tested for #COVID19.

From then on, everyone should be tested again at least every two weeks.
GROUP TRAINING

👥 The first phase of group training will see a maximum of 5 players per session.

Players must report to their assigned changing room at the scheduled time.

Three cloakrooms are used per session which means three players in each room in each time slot.
📏 Social distancing (at least 2m) is mandatory.

Each player will find his shoes, bottle & equipment prepared for him. These are placed as far apart as possible.

At the end of a session, players leave worn clothes in baskets except 👟 which should be left where they changed.
👉 In addition to the five players, the following employees are planned for the first phase of the training sessions:

Coaching staff: 3️⃣
Physio: 1️⃣
Kitperson: 1️⃣
Warehouse: 1️⃣
Cleaning: 3️⃣ or 4️⃣
Doctor: 1️⃣
Maintenance: 1️⃣
FULL TRAINING

⚽️ A return to full-team training is planned in the 2nd phase. Staff in the facility must regularly disinfect, wash their hands and wear a mask which must be replaced daily.

🖐 Access to the locker room, fitness/physio area must be restricted as much as possible.
👕 Anyone entering the facility must wear freshly washed clothes & disinfect their hands.

✌ Two players maximum may use the physio or gym facilities and should shower at home if possible.

🧽 Players must clean the areas they use and all surfaces touched must be disinfected.
🥞 The food is precisely regulated: each player receives a bag of nutritional supplements and his name (or squad number) for each meal.

🍽 The player must eat the meal alone.
GHOST GAMES

👻 "Geisterspiele" (ghost games) will, of course, have no crowd but also be missing several "normal" things that usually belong in football.

👏 There will be no child mascots and no hugging, clapping or shaking hands before kick-off.
🙏 Celebrating with team-mates after a goal is not encouraged.

As for those inside the stadium - the league plans to let only 200 people inside for Super League matches and 140 for the Challenge League.
📝 Every person who has access to the stadium has to fill out a self-declaration & ID themselves.

Each person must disinfect their hands when entering the stadium and have a fever measured without contact.
🚧 The stadium will be divided into four areas to make it easier to seperate the different groups of people.

All players, referees, and TV production employees must be tested for #COVID19 on matchday.
At ghost games in the Super League, only the following personnel can enter:

1️⃣8️⃣ players
1️⃣2️⃣ staff per team
4️⃣ referees
1️⃣ supervisor
1️⃣ referee coach
5️⃣ club members per team
1️⃣ game manager
1️⃣ safety officer
8️⃣ ballkids
2️⃣5️⃣ stewards
3️⃣ groundspeople
2️⃣ technicians
1️⃣ doping control
4️⃣ medics
3️⃣ stadium control
2️⃣ fire/police commanders
2️⃣ caterers
2️⃣ cleaning personnel
3️⃣3️⃣ TV production staff
2️⃣0️⃣ editors for SRF and TeleClub
1️⃣7️⃣ journalists
Finally, according to Blick, it is possible that all games could be played in a single stadium with two games on a Saturday and three games on a Sunday.

This would reduce logistical costs and ensure no dependency on regional restrictions such as there were in Ticino.
That is it. The plan is extremely detailed to give Swiss football the best chance to resume play and return to some sense of normality.

"We cannot decide, we are decided," said Heinrich Schifferle, president of the league committee.

That decision will be made very soon.
And it must also be stressed that this plan is devised as a necessity with several Swiss clubs facing financial ruin should football be unable to resume.

The entertainment aspect for fans and uplifting of spirits is secondary but much-needed, I'm sure.
