Bloody hell my local @Tesco Extra with HUGE aisles has introduced a one way system. That's me shopping at @sainsburys from now on till this crisis is over.
@Tesco one way system doesn't work when 1) you have cages of stock/empty cardboard boxes sat in aisles not being worked on by staff 2) multiple staff are stood chatting about personal stuff blocking aisle 3) one side of the aisle is one direction and the other side is reverse
4) people going the wrong way anyway! 5) people stood dithering working out which pack of eggs they want 6) people stood on their phone blocking aisle. I didn't have a pleasant experience and I know I need to be patient during the situation. I am patient but this was carnage.
PLUS why do you have someone walking around with a lollipop board stating people should stay 2m apart? WE KNOW! That extra person is unnecessary and is potentially just spreading Covid-19. Either get them packing shelves/on checkout or send them home.
Forgot - they also closed one aisle to restock fruit/veg which just threw the whole system out of whack. Was so much easier a week or so ago when people were able to manage their own spacing without one way system.
