Gonna share some of the #ShowMustGoOnline props-building photos from this week before I delete ‘em to clear the way for Richard III props.

This was my bathtub after building the prototype for Lavinia & Titus’ dismembered wrists.
Those wrist stumps? Made from tissue paper, chopsticks, toothbrushes & fake blood.
Nice modern aesthetic added by the fern here.

Dog-tags for the tomb scene! These guys are made of cardboard, spray-painted silver, dry-brushed with matt black paint.
Unfun fact: in WW1, dog-tags *were* made out of cardboard, which was an extraordinarily bad decision on someone’s part.

Fake blood: our cast used different recipes depending on the kind of injury being portrayed.
The spraying blood had a red wine or water & food colouring base, with instant coffee mixed in to darken it to give it a nice arterial blood look (& to make sure it showed up onscreen).

The Goths & Andronici’s stage guns: a mixture of painted toy guns & 3D cardboard guns. Can you tell which was which?

When I was demonstrating the severed-head/hand-in-bag prop during the first rehearsal, I used a bin bag, which is now in place in the bin so I’m looking forward to having forgotten about that & freaking myself out when I take the rubbish out on Friday.
