. @WHO on #health #innovation:

Lots of overlap between #QualityImprovement, #Quality and #Health #Innovation

Interesting to reflect on the interplay between #QualityImprovement, #Innovation and the challenges of massive upheaval (e.g. #COVID19 pandemic)

This @TheIHI framework provides some useful headings worthy of further exploration.

Evaluation of Control Measures Implemented in the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Outbreak in Beijing, 2003

A useful @JAMANetwork paper on #SARS 2003

Learning here for #COVID19 (though of course there are differences in presentation & natural history)

Continuing these posts on #innovation in healthcare, the following measures were important in the #SARS 2003 response ( @JAMANetwork paper tweeted previously https://jamanetwork.com/journals/jama/fullarticle/197893)

For the #COVID19 response these are now necessary #PublicHealth actions rather than innovations
Important change with #COVID19 - professionally & socially - has been⬆️use of private methods for communicating with individuals & groups - eg Zoom, MS Teams, WhatsApp

Is this leading to more useful dialogue online & how does it affect social media use?
