Ancient History Quote of the Day: "23 April: Julia Augusta and Tiberius Augustus dedicated a statue to Divus Augustus their father at the Theatre of Marcellus" (Fasti Praenestini). #AHQOTD

Both the Fasti Praenestini and the Acts of the Arval Brethren commemorate the dedication of this statue in AD 22. The date, 23 April, is not associate with any previous significance to Augustus, not does Ovid discuss it in his Fasti for this date.
However, the statue did feature on certain Tiberian coin issues (as at the head of this thread), though the Arvals certainly did not celebrate this event in any subsequent year.
