I currently don’t know of any parent that won’t go mad after paying 21K USD for their child to miss English and Maths exams. What was the boy thinking?
I understand why a parent can behave that way. But it is not justified to slap, then, wife records. It is simply humiliating.

Parenting is not easy. My recommendation would be to find out what exactly is wrong with the boy, and find out what he wants to do with his life. Because many times, children of the rich think their parents money will help them through life. That might not always be the case.

The boy must be counselled, and properly supervised. The dad or mum needs to spend more time with him, daily. I understand work commitments and what not, but the greatest asset are these children. So while I understand the dads frustration, he needs to do better himself.

Failure in an examination is not great, but it is understandable if a child has done their best, and failed. Missing English and Maths examinations simply means you don’t want to go to Uni. There are deeper problems that we might not know about. But I wish them all the best.
