i feel like some idols honestly just get hated on for being too beautiful. like, whatever the reason be whether it's "lack of talent" or "too hyped up" etc...underneath it all is just a genuine anger that an idol is attractive and they're famous for it

it just feels very accurate that folks who publicly hate on idols are also deeply insecure about some aspect of themselves...which is fine, it's human to be insecure, we all feel it to varying degrees...but if ur gonna let that determine how u treat others...get a grip

And honestly a lot of the time the targets are women. Idol women get shit on for everything they do...especially from other women...like, ur internalized misogyny ain't cute or cool it's just v apparent that u value women's contributions less than men's in the kpop world
