My fiancé and I recently went to a restaurant supply store that opened its doors to the general public during quarantine times, and I talked myself out of buying a case of 72 macaroons for $45
I still don’t know if I should be celebrating my strength or cursing my stupidity

I love macaroons with a passion. If I see a stall specializing macaroons somewhere I WILL buy at least one.
But after binging 72 macaroons—would I care anymore? What if I inadvertently killed my joy for that special treat?? Is not the act of affection worth more than the object?

But at the same time— 72 MACAROONS FOR $0.63 EACH!! I could’ve eaten 3 macaroons a day for nearly a month— that could’ve been my life.
Animal crossing and macaroons—does that not sound like a little slice of heaven??
