On a serious note it’s sad that in England if we show we are proud of our nation and flag we are ‘racist’ it’s such a stark difference to Norway. Why have we let racists own our national pride? It’s so weird our reaction to our own flag is dismay and contempt #ProudToBeEnglish

It’s so weird when I’m living in Norway for half the year seeing all the Norwegian flags everywhere (one every 100m minimum) people with Norwegian flags on their clothing, the national day being a massive day of celebration whilst we don’t even know when ours is mostly. I love it

Btw I wish we had more national pride this isn’t me saying we should accept the current situation. Our country celebrates saint paddy’s more than our own patron saint day. But it will never change whilst we have the current left leaning media and celebrity culture.
